Paul: Fight Club is easily one of the best films ever made. I have always been a big fan of Brad Pitt and Edward Norton so naturally I knew I was going to love the film. The acting is some of the best you’ll ever see, the plot is one of the most unique plots ever written, and the ending blows you away. It is a must see film.

After Black September’s assassination of Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972, Prime Minister Golda Meir okays a black-box operation to hunt down and kill all involved. A team of five gathers in Switzerland led by Avner, a low-level Mossad techie whose father was a war hero and whose wife is pregnant. It’s an expendable team, but relying on paid informants, they track and kill several in Europe and Lebanon. They must constantly look over their shoulders for the CIA, KGB, PLO, and their own sources. As the body count mounts — with retribution following retribution — so do questions, doubts, and sleepless nights. Loyalties blur. What does it mean to be a Jew?

Review

Paul: This film was a masterpiece, Spielberg gives us a powerful glimpse into the meaning of home, family, honor, history, ethics, and faith. Eric Bana and Daniel Craig were both amazing throughout the movie and the rest of crew did a good job keeping up with their outstanding performance.

Critics gave the film very mixed reviews but don’t not see it because you read a bad review, it is an outstanding film.

Paul: The movie is about a normal hardworking likeable kid with a loving family and no bad background who goes crazy and goes on a mass killing spree. What really annoyed me the most about this movie is that you really liked the main guy and you don’t understand why he is doing it (The movie sort of explains why he does it at the end, sort of). Besides the fact that you have no idea why he is crazy, I enjoyed myself watching it. The humor is great, the acting was surprisingly good, and a very unique story, overall, I liked it.

A two-segment look at the effect of the military mindset and war itself on Vietnam era Marines. The first half follows a group of recruits in basic training under the command of the punishing Sgt. Hartman. The second half shows one of those recruits, Joker, covering the war as a correspondent for Stars and Stripes, focusing on the Tet offensive.

Review:

Paul: The opening scene is undeniable one of the best openings to movie you well ever see. That being said, its sets the tone for the rest of the movie – brutal, intense, highly explicit language, and so many one liners you cant remember them all.

The only reason I gave it a 3.5 is because it was made in the 80′s and its got some major 80′s flaws (music, acting,.. etc.)

Their quest to destroy the One Ring is the only hope for the end of the Dark Lords reign!

Paul: I think I speak for everyone when I say there is no need for a review for any of The Lord of the Rings movies. If you haven’t seen it, go see it! If you have seen it and don’t like it, your crazy.
